Wondering if the new Hoka Clifton 9 is worth the cash?
Here’s what an avid runner and podiatrist love about this running sneak.
Its designed for runners, but you could also wear them casually because theyre so comfortable.
Simply put, these kicks are the lightest yet, andmore supportive than ever before.
This is a shoe designed for most runners in the neutral category.
But thats not what you want if youre weightlifting.

), and to the gym in these sneakers.
So lets get into it.
Walking in this shoe is a breeze.
SeriouslyI almost didnt even feel them on my feet.
I also loved them for outdoor walks, whether they were leisurely or at a faster pace.
Take Dr. Tumens word for it.
I found them super comfortable and easy to run in right out of the box.
All of Dr. Tumens insight rings true to my experience running in the Clifton 9.

broke the three-mile ceiling.
However, these werent ideal for activities on the weight room floor.
Workouts like deadlifts or squats left me feeling a bit wobbly.
With this shoe, Hoka created somethingmore, Dr. Tumen says.
I suspect itll also bring smiles to a lot of walkers and sneaker aficionados.
So far, so good.
The only con for me is that I cant squat at the gym.
I did everything in these shoes while I was reviewing them and loved every second.
Ill be reaching for them pretty much every time I need a comfortable sneaker.
