Growing up, it was hard to relate to the tiny chick’s immense terror.
But now, as an adult, its a panic I know all too well.
Every persons experience with climate anxiety is incredibly valid.
However, the effects of climate changeand climate anxiety with themdisproportionately affect communities of color.

I admit, I also do many of these things.
This isn’t the case for many communities of color.
(The cruel irony is that these people often contribute to climate change the least.)

And, these are the communities typically forgotten after the initial coverage of the disaster.
It’s an understatement to say there’s a lot to be anxious about.
This isnt to say there isnt hope.
And they’re taking action against climate change at its root.
These teenagers are fighting for their future as 16-year-olds.
