I tried the “magic” hair treatment, GroPotion, to see how it would affect my hair.
Here’s my honest review.
It feels more prone to breakage than I remember, and some days, it seems to feel dryer.
Heres the 411: GroPotion is an all-in-one treatment celebrated for working for all hair types.
Its sweet spot is definitely combatting dryness and adding shine.
And its a steal at $17.

My experience using GroPotion
A little really goes a long way here.
Then, take a comb and gently brush the product into your hair, from scalp to ends.
(Castor oil is much different than coconut or olive oil.
It has a thick, honey-like or syrupy consistency, so dont get thrown by the texture and thickness.
This product washes out like a dream, and doesnt leave behind any oily, sticky residue.)
Amazon reviewers keep raving about the hydrating qualities of this ointment, and I have to agree with them.
After the first few treatments, my hair smelled amazing, felt incredibly soft and looked much shinier.
I continued using this miracle serum consistently for more than three weeks.
In my hair routine, I added GroPotion in to my hair routine two times per week.
The calming rosemary smell became a really lovely part of my nighttime routine.
This in and of itself was a bonus!
The leave-in option is ideal for those with thicker hair that doesnt get easily weighed down.
After testing out this route, mine did feel a bit too oily and heavy for my liking.
The nighttime routine was the perfect combination of hair treatment and calming ritual.
Gone are my dry flyaways and lackluster locks.
GroPotion seems to have unleashed some shine and life back into my hair.
Thats a win in my hair book.
While my postpartum hair isnt completely solved, it is definitely looking extra lovely during the growth process!
