Well+Good: Where did the idea of the Black Independence Project come from?

So I always just felt compelled to talk more about my diverse background growing up.

Im Black American, Im Native American, and Im Mexican Indian.

Because thats something that we also need to address, right?

Its, How do we create environments where people are able to thrive?

And how has that manifested?

Its really making that connection between the corporate partner and the community.
